New Patients: What to Expect at Your First Visit

New Patients – No referral, no judgement, no surprises. Here is exactly what happens at a first appointment, what to bring, and how long it takes.

Book An Appointment

A Full Hour to Get to Know Your Mouth

Your first visit at Yours Dental Hygiene is about 60 to 75 minutes. We start with a short health history, then your hygienist assesses your teeth, gums and soft tissues, takes X-rays if needed, and explains what they see. In most cases the cleaning happens the same visit. If there is heavy buildup or gum disease, we may plan a second visit so nothing is rushed.

You leave with clean teeth, a clear picture of your oral health, and a written plan and estimate for anything further.

"My wife and I recently visited Yours Dental Hygiene and had a great experience! A special thank you to Eimee—she was exceptionally thorough, gentle, and professional throughout our appointments. The clinic itself is spotless, welcoming, and very well-run. Eimee took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we were completely comfortable. Highly recommend this clinic."

"I visited this clinic based on a recommendation from a family friend. Booking an appointment was very easy, and I was able to find a time that fit perfectly with my work schedule. I initially went in for a basic dental cleaning and ended up getting a few sealants done as well. The results were a huge improvement, and I was far more satisfied than I had expected. The staff were friendly and highly professional, making the whole experience even better. I would confidently recommend this clinic to anyone."
